"The most important things in life can be communicated without words.
That's the reason I play."
Outside his full-time job as a researcher in molecular biology, Tar Viturawong is an amateur composer and a pianist. He has released two albums of original solo piano compositions: Origami in November 2009 and Adolescent Reflections in October 2008. His works have enjoyed broadcast on Whisperings and SKY.FM Solo Piano internet radio stations, and a track in a Swan Lake Music and Moving Image & Music Award compilation CD: Acoustic Visions. Having been described as "a perfect blend between passion and tranquility", Tar's musical ideas have a unique place where modern inspiration and classical romanticism meet.
Tar's upcoming album, Nox, will be released on 9th May 2013.
